Bang average from end-to-end, Finn Bálor's farewell to an undefeated Demon gimmick turned out to be not that big a heartbreaker after all.
There was one really cool bit when The Demon nailed Reigns in his c*ck off a kick out to give him a taste of his own b*ll shot, and the near fall it lead to was legitimately thrilling. Before and after that, the two mostly went through all the usual WWE pay-per-view main event tropes until they hit the biggest ones simultaneously. The announce table was broken just before the barrier, before Bálor's music brought him back to life for the sequence that brought his demise.
Before the ropes collapsed underneath The Demon's feet, he'd produced a bunch of taped up kendo sticks as a super weapon. His "dark place" is obviously a hardware story - why didn't he check those corners before the bell?
