7. Detroit Rock City

Returning to stadiums after a three year arena break, WrestleMania 23 made glorious use of all the extra space with a mammoth stage that afforded the superstars a grander entrance than one they'd been accustomed to in years prior.

WrestleMania III's organic and awe-inspiring aesthetic may have been a product of it's time, but WWE and Kevin Dunn were capable of developing several efforts almost as strong.

Still several months ahead of switching to High Definition, the LED pillars added much-needed colour to the cavernous venue. Much of it was lost on screen thanks to the ungodly levels of blue and black lighting on the crowd packing Ford Field, but colourising the crowds too became a common occurence on all major WWE shows.
