3. Do We Really Need To Do This?

Uncle Howdy challenged Solo Sikoa to meet him one on one next week so he can “expose his insecurities”. Can he not just “move the hell on instead”? Y'know, do us all a favour here, because this feud has felt interminable and it's like pulling teeth at this point. There's almost zero interest in seeing this MFT vs. Wyatt Sicks thing continue, but continue it seemingly must.

It really says everything that Matt Cardona and Apollo Crews coming for the MFTs is more interesting than Howdy rambling away in pre-taped promos. How many of those can he and the Sicks cut, man?! They say largely the same things, then WWE books the tiniest bit of storyline progression/regression before hitting the repeat button. It's painful, and it needs to stop.

The Wyatts have strangled SmackDown's tag-team division for far too long.

Sure, Howdy vs. Solo is what this plot has been building up to, but it's still ice cold. Few actually care whether or not Unc wins back his prized lantern from Sikoa, and they're a hair away from sticking that thing on a pole here. Yes, your writer has cracked that joke before, but it's difficult not to when he's seeing the same stuff from these folks every bloody week.

Seeking positives from this feud has been akin to searching for needles in a haystack. Even if you want to like either group, WWE's booking makes it harder. Just get this singles match over with, give Howdy back his lantern, then move the hell on. Pretty please?
