3. ‘Dirty Dom’ Somehow Advances

The only reason for this men's Fatal-4-Way ranking higher in the 'Ups' than that women's tag? The finishing stretch. It was electric, and it delivered a satisfying conclusion to Dominik Mysterio's unlikely quest to progress in the King Of The Ring tournament. Overall, this was a high stakes main event pitting Dominik vs. Bron Breakker vs. Damian Priest vs. Trick Williams.

Again, Dom Dom advanced to the semi finals for a clash with Oba Femi, so that’ll end well for him.

It’s certainly an interesting direction to go in, but likely smart to keep Bron and Trick (in particular) away from Oba right now. Mysterio can be a bump machine for Femi on Raw at some point anyway, and that'll engage a live crowd somewhere on planet pro wrestling. Bring it on, because Mysterio is in his element when he's bouncing around for someone larger than he.

Come the end stretch, Dominik stopped Trick from winning by pulling the ref out of the ring. Breakker then put Williams through the announce table before Mysterio finished Priest to advance thanks to interference from Judgment Day members like JD McDonagh and Liv Morgan.

Yep, this guy still thinks these Fatal-4-Ways are already starting to get tedious, but this was high quality work from everyone involved and that's important to applaud. Again, like in the women's match earlier in the show, everyone played their roles brilliantly. Dominik was outgunned so had to stick and move, Trick looked like an absolute star, Breakker is a wrecking machine, and Priest knew he was there as a supporting act to get his old stablemate over.
