After selling the tournament to crown a new WWE World Heavyweight Champion as a huge deal, and then insisting that best friends Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose were going to war over the title in the finals, WWE delivered a less-than 10-minute main event. Talk about a supremely disappointing finale to the tournament. It looked like they Ambrose and Reigns were off and running on the right foot, slugging it out and hitting each other with high-impact moves. But instead of it hitting a second gear, the match immediately jumped to the third act, with both men trading finishing moves before Reigns speared Ambrose out of nowhere for the clean victory and the championship.This says nothing about the booking itself (more on that later), but the match could have been stretched out another five minutes without much difficulty to give it a little more depth. The Undertakers entrance almost lasted as long as this match.
