American Alpha got a chance to show off their skills earlier in the show, and later, it was The Revival's turn. The reigning NXT Tag Team Champions had a squash match of their own against contracted WWE talents Steve Cutler and Tucker Knight. Even though it was the second squash tag match on the show, the fact that it was designed to showcase the heels made it a completely different bout than the earlier one. The Revival tried to isolate Cutler early in the match, but the newcomer was still able to get some offense in on Dash, then Dawson. Eventually, Dawson started to dominate the match with some vicious brawling, but Cutler made the hot tag to the titanic Knight. Knight came in with some athletic offense on the Tag Team Champions, but with a little bit of rule-bending, The Revival were able to turn the tide and hit Knight with the Shatter Machine for the win. Like American Alpha, they had used their talents to prove their point.
