7 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (June 15th)

3. A Fresh Match-Up

Oh goodie, look: Randy Orton and Sheamus are set to fight each other €“ again. And they set the feud up by having each one cost the other a win, so they€™re both losers. Even better. The Viper and the Celtic Warrior have fought more than a dozen times in one-on-one televised bouts through the years, but it feels like it€™s been a lot more. That€™s in large part due to the fact that they really don€™t really have great chemistry together. Sure, they love to pummel each other, but it just doesn€™t translate. It also doesn€™t help that WWE likes to protect both, so there€™s a lot of win-trading or shenanigans. Of their 15 televised matches, nine have either ended in a DQ or a no contest. That certainly doesn€™t help.Even when they€™re not in the same match, they still manage to lead to DQs, no contests and screwy finishes. Monday, Orton distracted Sheamus and he got rolled up by Ambrose, then Sheamus wandered out during Orton€™s match against Kane. The Director of Operations changed the match to No Holds Barred mid-match, Sheamus immediately hit a Brogue Kick and Kane covered for the win.
