Nothing gets a guy who just won a guaranteed world championship match over more than having him lose to a rollup the next night, right? Theyll pay through the nose to see that guy as world champ when he cashes in his Money in the Bank briefcase, right? Sadly, WWE seems to think this is the case. Twenty-four hours after winning the MITB briefcase in a surprise move, Sheamus came out at the Authoritys behest to beat on a hobbled Dean Ambrose. The Lunatic Fringe hung in the match up until the bitter end, when Randy Ortons music provided the distraction that led to Ambrose rolling Sheamus up for the pin. Why? The answer probably is because WWE doesnt think wins and losses matter, you know, because football fans dont care if their favorite team loses, as long as they put smiles on peoples faces. The truth is, Sheamus had been floundering recently, and the decision to give him the briefcase is a bold move that could pay off if the Celtic Warrior is booked properly. WWE needs a big, bruising heel, and Sheamus could be that guy. Instead, he comes out of the chute and loses. Bravo.
