7 Ways WWE Have Made Bayley Look Stupid

2. The Worst Segment Of 2017

No individual segment has done more damage to Bayley’s character than last week’s “This Is Your Life” skit. Presented by Alexa Bliss, it saw the villainous Raw Women’s Championship gather pictures, toys, and other items from Bayley’s life, then trawl through her past by mocking yearbook entries, reciting school reports, and bringing her childhood best friend and an ex-boyfriend to testify on her timidness.

The segment died a death. Bliss did her best to make something of it, but there’s only so much you can do with terrible material, and the crowd hated it. It was neither funny nor entertaining, and Alexa’s attack on Bayley’s “too nice for her own good” persona did nothing to build heat for their upcoming match, and drew “DELETE!” chants instead.

Bayley eventually decided she'd had enough, but she was cut-off by Bliss, who took her out with a kendo stick. Not only did Bayley have her character assassinated for 15 minutes, but she was left lying at the end of the segment too. It wasn’t quite WrestleCrap-Worthy, but it will likely go down as the worst sketch WWE produce all year, and it didn’t push the challenger as a sympathetic foil, but a lifelong loser.
