7. Maya World

The post-enhancement talent portion of Maya World's time with AEW can be put down to a fluke.

That's not to say she doesn't deserve the platform offered to her: she absolutely does. At 24, she's one of the brightest prospects in the game who could eventually be a top draw for AEW - but she was never supposed to be in this position. A trainee of Athena's, Maya regularly freelanced for both AEW and ROH until she, alongside Hyan, was formally signed by Tony Khan at the end of 2025. That, too, was a fluke, as the pair stepped in at the last minute to replace an uncooperative Nixon Newell and Miranda Alize, earning major plaudits from AEW higher-ups.

Alone, Maya benefited even further. She was a late-in-the-day replacement for an injured Sareee in the Women's Owen Hart Foundation Tournament, a bracket she made it to the finals of before losing to Mercedes Moné. From there, Maya defeated Hikaru Shida for the TBS Championship at Redemption, and though it was only a one-month reign before Persephone came calling, it allowed the recently unknown Texan to emerge as a well-polished act within a division that's slowly finding its bearings again.
