Every Current AEW Champion - Full List & Updates
An up to the minute guide on every single champion who currently holds gold in AEW and ROH.

Tony Khan oversees 15 active championships across core AEW programming and the offshoot ROH brand.
In some respects, the once proud standalone Ring Of Honor has become akin to NXT over on the WWE side. It's a sideshow, and gives some overlooked wrestlers somewhere to wrestle without sitting in catering for Dynamite or Collision. However, unlike NXT, ROH isn't really a developmental wing focused on building the next wave of All Elite stars. A quick look at the current champs reveals that.
This up to the minute guide will keep you in the loop if you're a little confused about who's holding some of the lesser titles across Khan's company. There are multiple variations of the Trios belts, for example, and the current "main roster" houses several championships that are only as strong as the wrestlers holding them at any given time. Case in point: The International, TBS and Continental straps.
Of course, like over on the list of every current WWE champion, holding any wrestling title in a major promotion is nothing to be ashamed of. It's a sure sign that AEW management is paying attention to someone's body of work. They're either mid-top line push (say hello to the World Champs) or on the cusp of doing something special with the right booking/patience on the undercard.
Holding gold at least guarantees some TV time too, which is never a bad thing either.
These are the current AEW champs in title hot seats across the full range of programming. Dynamite, Collision and ROH on HonorClub. Here's everything you need to know about who's holding what, when they won it and more!
AEW World Champion: Jon Moxley

Since: 12 October, 2024.
Defeated: Bryan Danielson.
Show: WrestleDream.
Jon Moxley has often been Tony Khan's, 'Break Glass In Emergency' call when it comes to the AEW World Title. The brawler's Death Riders storyline has split opinion (some are enjoying the ride, whilst others think it's dragging big time) amongst fans, but it has kept Mox on top of the tree on a packed roster.
He beat old Blackpool Combat Club cohort Bryan Danielson back at WrestleDream 2024 to bag a fourth reign as AEW World Champion. During his reign, Moxley has managed to fend off everyone from Orange Cassidy to Cope and remain the man. We'll see how long AEW perseveres with the Death Riders stuff.
AEW Women's World Champion: Toni Storm

Since: 15 February, 2025.
Defeated: Mariah May.
Show: Grand Slam: Australia.
'Timeless' Toni Storm is a crown jewel of AEW's product.
Nobody has come close to touching her magic since the old time Hollywood gimmick began, and that looks set to continue into the spring and summer months of 2025. A vicious, bloody war with ex-protege turned enemy Mariah May was one of the highlights on AEW's recent Revolution pay-per-view, and it was just the latest example of quality during Storm's career-best run.
This sort of wonderful output is precisely why Toni thumbed her nose at the WWE system and decided to leave years ago. It was an inspired decision, in retrospect.
AEW World Tag-Team Champions: The Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin)

Since: 22 January, 2025.
Defeated: Private Party.
Show: Dynamite.
MVP heads up the renamed Hurt Syndicate (formerly known as the Hurt Business in WWE) on AEW TV. Both Bobby Lashley and veteran Shelton Benjamin are current Tag-Team Champs in the promotion after dethroning the divisive Private Party earlier in the year. It'd be a huge surprise if Lashley and Benjamin weren't called upon to carry the straps for a long time and work with the full gamut of teams in the division before dropping these belts.
Lashley's power and Benjamin's still-impressive athleticism means they're the perfect duo to reign supreme in Tony Khan's tag ranks right now. It'll take some pairing to better them, that's for sure.
AEW TNT Champion: Daniel Garcia

Since: 23 November, 2024.
Defeated: Jack Perry.
Show: Full Gear.
It's amazing just how far a popular dance move can take somebody! In all seriousness, Daniel Garcia has always been a fab nuts and bolts pro wrestler, and he's been on the brink of achieving singles stardom for a while now. Beating Jack Perry to become TNT Champ was a huge moment for the technician.
Fingers crossed his TNT Title reign is more memorable than his ROH Pure one. That felt like a bit of a missed opportunity back in 2022. Khan has previous with wrecking a wrestler's momentum once they're holding the TNT gold too, so everyone will be begging for that to change with Garcia.
It better.
AEW TBS Champion: Mercedes Mone

Since: 26 May, 2024.
Defeated: Willow Nightingale.
Show: Double Or Nothing.
AEW touted Mercedes Mone as a game changer once she joined the promotion full-time in early-2024. Along with Will Ospreay and Kazuchika Okada, Mone was supposed to be one of the leading lights who'd push All Elite to that next level. It hasn't really happened, but she's had a stronghold on the TBS Title nonetheless.
Mone is creeping towards a full calendar year as TBS Champ, and it's pretty difficult to name someone else in the division who'd realistically supplant her. That's one of AEW's biggest challenges for the remainder of 2025: Find a wrestler who'd receive a massive, sustainable boost by toppling Mercedes.
AEW International Champion: Kenny Omega

Since: 9 March, 2025.
Defeated: Konosuke Takeshita.
Show: Revolution.
Konosuke Takeshita's time in the spotlight as AEW International Champion began at WrestleDream 2024, but it ended at Revolution 2025 when he was pinned by the evergreen Kenny Omega. That win was always in the post, because Omega holding some sort of gold will always just look right. He used to be a belt collector, don't you know?
Fans popped big for Kenny's latest title coronation, and there's a strong argument to be made that he'll elevate the workhorse tier International Title and turn it into one of the most important straps in the entire company. Keep this one on Omega for as long as necessary, Tony!
AEW Continental Champion: Kazuchika Okada

Since: 20 March, 2024.
Defeated: Eddie Kingston.
Show: Dynamite.
It'd be an outright lie to suggest that this is the same Kazuchika Okada who earned near God-like status in New Japan Pro Wrestling for years. The AEW version is a bit lower on the ladder in terms of aura and overall presentation, but Okada still has a part to play as Continental Champ. He beat Eddie Kingston to bag that prize in early-2024, and has reigned supreme ever since.
Kazuchika might've passed the year mark by a fair bit by the time you read this. He's closing in on that at time of writing. Who's going to be the next Continental choice? Over to you, TK.
AEW World Trios Champions: Death Riders (PAC, Claudio Castagnoli & Wheeler Yuta)

Since: 25 August, 2024.
Defeated: The Patriarchy (Christian Cage, Killswitch and Nick Wayne).
Show: All In London.
PAC, Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta were still known as members of the Blackpool Combat Club when they won a four-way ladder match at All In over in London, England in the summer of 2024. They dethroned ex-champs The Patriarchy, but also managed to beat House Of Black and the Bang Bang Gang in that same bout.
Since then, the trio have remoulded as part of Jon Moxley's heel Death Riders crew. That happened in early-November 2024, but the same technical excellence is expected whenever they're in the ring together. The Trios Titles are hardly AEW's most pressing prizes, but a belt is a belt.
ROH World Champion: Chris Jericho

Since: 23 October, 2024.
Defeated: Mark Briscoe.
Show: Dynamite.
Bonafide wrestling great Chris Jericho has a staggering amount of 'go away' heat these days, but he'll always be afforded a generous amount of TV time and spotlight in AEW. That may never change unless he somehow falls out with Tony Khan or decides one last WWE run is in his future.
Cynics might say that Jericho holding the ROH World Title keeps him off core AEW programming, but that simply hasn't been true. That championship is guaranteed to get some house room on Dynamite and Collision if it's around Chris's waist. His Learning Tree story persist despite some of the haters erm..hating it.
ROH Women's World Champion: Athena

Since: 10 December, 2022.
Defeated: Mercedes Martinez.
Show: Final Battle.
Athena's is quietly building one of the lengthiest Women's Title reigns in modern pro wrestling history. She's been ROH Women's Champ since late-2022. This either proves that AEW management don't pay much attention to the Ring Of Honor brand, or shows just how accomplished a worker the former Ember Moon (in WWE's NXT) is.
Let's roll with the latter.
Athena probably deserves a bit more screen time on bigger AEW shows than she gets, but she seems content enough to busy herself with HonorClub shenanigans and bolster her title reign further. Surely someone else has to get a shot with that belt at some point?!
ROH World Tag-Team Champions: Dustin Rhodes & Sammy Guevara

Since: 17 August, 2024.
Defeated: The Undisputed Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett).
Show: Collision.
Sammy Guevara has flirted with the main event mix in AEW a couple of times, but he definitely seems more at home as a midcarder who occasionally slides into a tag-team role. His alliance with Dustin Rhodes seemed to come out of nowhere, but it hasn't been the worst thing for Sammy. At least he's enjoying his wrestling.
Dustin is the aging warhorse of ROH at the moment. He's a reliable legend who has seen and done it all for decades. Seeing him hold some gold in 2025 is pleasing for fans who watched his career grow from WCW midcarder to one of WWE's most shocking gimmicks. Goldust being a Gorgeous George/Adrian Street/Adrian Adonis "rip-off" doesn't change it fact it bettered all of them.
ROH World Television Champion: Komander

Since: 20 December, 2024.
Defeated: Brian Cage.
Show: Final Battle.
Technically, Komander dethroned ex-ROH TV Champion Brian Cage to become the new incumbent, but he actually had to go through more than big Bri to get there. Komander beat AR Fox, Blake Christian, Willie Mack and Mark Davis alongside Cage to hoist that title above his head at Honor's Final Battle to close 2024.
It was a fine end to the year for someone who has worked diligently to impress whenever he's been given the chance to do so. Individual fan interest in the ROH Television Title varies, but it's nice to see Komander get ahead and grab singles championships.
ROH Women's World Television Champion: Red Velvet

Since: 26 July, 2024.
Defeated: Billie Starkz.
Show: Death Before Dishonor.
Red Velvet is another female star who struggles to squeeze her way onto the larger AEW events nowadays. Like top ROH Women's Champion Athena though, Velvet has experienced a quietly purring lengthy title reign in Honor. She's been ROH Women's World Television Champ since the summer of 2024.
Previous champion Billie Starkz was actually the first to hold that title when it debuted earlier that same year. She beat Queen Aminata in a tournament final at Supercard Of Honor on 5 April 2024 to win it, then dropped the thing to Red on 26 July.
As Goldberg would say: 'Who's next?'.
ROH Pure Champion: Lee Moriarty

Since: 26 July, 2024.
Defeated: Wheeler Yuta.
Show: Death Before Dishonor.
The ROH Pure Championship tends to stay put on wrestlers for a while. That was the case when it debuted in 2004, and that has certainly been the case since the belt came back (post-2006 unification with the ROH World Title) in 2020. Former champs like Jonathan Gresham, Josh Woods, Katsuyori Shibata and Wheeler Yuta all held the belt for well over 200 days.
Current title holder Lee Moriarty has continued that trend. He beat Yuta back in July 2024, and has locked down a solid niche for himself on the brand heading through the latter months of the year into 2025.
ROH World Trios Champions: The Sons Of Texas (Dustin Rhodes, Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich)

Since: 26 July, 2024.
Defeated: The Undisputed Kingdom (Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett).
Show: Battle Of The Belts XI.
Admittedly, AEW's Battle Of The Belts specials haven't been the most essential since maybe the first or second in the series. However, BOTB did give Dustin Rhodes the chance to honour some Texan wrestling tradition by winning the ROH Trios Titles alongside Marshall and Ross Von Erich in the summer of 2024.
The belts had been vacated by Bang Bang Gang threesome Jay White, Austin Gunn and Colten Gunn due to an injury suffered by White. That forced Tony Khan to book The Sons Of Texas vs. Undisputed Kingdom's Roderick Strong, Matt Taven and Mike Bennett on the aforementioned BOTB show.
Rhodes and the Von Erich lads winning out was an emotional moment for them.
