8 Most Polarizing Wrestlers Working Today

4. Marko Stunt

Can someone be too much of an underdog? Marko Stunt is wrestling's attempt to find an answer to this very question.

Standing at a legitimate 5 ft 2 in., Marko is invariably the smallest man in any match he's in. Those who decry him say that he has no business being in the ring as he makes everyone involved look ridiculous for fighting him. Unlike other similarly size-disadvantaged superstars such as Rey Mysterio, Marko has neither the superhuman level of athleticism or charisma necessary to offest the obvious disparity between him and his opponents.

His supporters, however, say that this is precisely the point. Marko Stunt isn't supposed to be a heavyweight contender, or someone who can stand toe toe with the company's best. Every match he's in involves him using his quickness and ring smarts to make a nuisance of himself, darting around his opponents to fluster and frustrate them while his Jurassic Express team-mates do the heavy lifting. When he's caught, he gets murdered. But until that point, he's living his dream of being a professional wrestler despite the criticism and negativity sent his way.

Whether that's uplifiting or self-indulgent is in the eye of the beholder.
