8 NASTIEST Trash Talkers In Wrestling History

7. New Jack

Every wrestler in a pair of tights has the ambition to be feared, but there has never been a pro wrestler as straight-up terrifying as New Jack. The man born Jerome Young was a problem on 2 legs. A crazy mf'er who could snap at a moment's notice, this instant menace carried over into his believable and dangerous mic work.

New Jack is best known for his time in ECW, but his most maniacal promo came as part of The Gangstas tag-team in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Leaning into the American racial politics that had been placed on black people, Jack spoke of how he was going to turn the tables and light folks on fire, calling the audience "chicken farmers", "coal miners" and "clansmen". He then gave a shout out to OJ Simpson ("keep up the good work, baby. 2 less we got to worry about").

Jack also excelled in violent intent.

Authenticity is everything in pro wrestling, and it was easy to buy into New Jack's deranged monologues of violence, drugs, and street justice. He would cut excessive promos in ECW, saying things like: "Mike Tyson said 'I didn't do it'. Not me. I'd say, "I did it and got away with it". There has been and never will be a wrestler more dangerous than New Jack.
