8 New Directions For WWE After Elimination Chamber 2026

7. A WrestleMania Rematch (With An Added Stip)

WWE had 2 choices here. They could’ve found a screwy finish to keep the Women’s Intercontinental Title on Becky Lynch, or put the belt on AJ Lee and went from there. Obviously, creative chose the latter, but there’s a good chance Becky gets a rematch at ‘Mania 42. They’ll have to tack on some sort of stipulation though, because another straight up singles bout wouldn’t make sense.

The pair need to escalate their violence and intensity.

Options include a steel cage, a ‘No DQ’ effort, or maybe even ‘I Quit’ if they want to play on the whole Lynch tapped out yet again thing. Ultimately, it’ll be interesting to see whether or not Lee works a more full on schedule now she has a title around her waist. Her return run hasn't hit the heights it promised to when she was ushered back onto TV, but her win on Saturday night did get one of the bigger pops on the card.

It's really a no-brainer to go back to back on AJ vs. Becks with a Las Vegas special that's souped up and more intense than Elimination Chamber's bout was. Again, to ensure that happens, WWE will have to heap on the violence and give fans tuning in a reason to believe that Lynch is in with a shout/Lee doesn't just have her number.

Maybe Becky regains the belt via shady circumstances on Raw before 'Mania, then Lee ends the feud with a bang by making her arch nemesis yell, "I quit! I quit! I quit!" over and over.
