8 New Directions For WWE After Money In The Bank 2026

6. Finding Another Speed Bump For Oba

Being honest, a speed bump is exactly what Bronson Reed turned out to be.

It's tough to see a rematch coming between Reed and Oba Femi unless WWE gets creative, because the finish at MITB was fairly definitive. Another point: WWE have a tough job on their hands holding Oba back from his World Title destiny. They blatantly want to do that at WrestleMania 43, and he’ll probably win the Royal Rumble. Until then, it’s about putting obstacles in his way.

Over to you, creative team. Time to find another worker who can keep Oba busy in the interim. Femi mentioned Roman Reigns during the post-show, but it’d be a surprise if they pulled the trigger on that at Crown Jewel or Survivor Series; that's especially true when Roman clearly has other things lined up for those PLEs.

Oba...doesn't. There's nothing jumping out as super obvious, at least. Some online seem to think he's heading for another match vs. Bron Breakker after The Vision member shone brightly during the men's ladder match. Hmm, it's possible, but that feels like a backwards step for both. It'd need to be something really special to garner interest.

The other option is sticking Femi in a temporary tag-team alongside another babyface fighting off The Vision. Oba buddying up with someone else vs. Bron and Bronson? Doesn't sound big time though, does it? Keeping Femi busy enough has been a challenge faced since he won King Of The Ring.

Brock Lesnar, Breakker and Reed have been useful, but that Roman bout looms.
