8 Things You Didn't Know About WWE's Kyoki (FKA Hiromu Takahashi)
2. Kyoki Was Robbed In Nashville
WWE SummerSlam (and the very real possibility of watching Ric Flair go a shade darker than Barney The Dinosaur) brought the wider wrestling world to Nashville, Tennessee across the final weekend of July in 2022, with New Japan among the external parties getting in on the festivities. They booked the Nashville Fairgrounds on the 30th for Music City Mayhem, their first time in the city since before the pandemic. By all accounts, the show was a hit.

The post-show was not.
Returning to his hotel room after defeating Blake Christian, Hiromu Takahashi opened the door to find that he had been burgled. He told Yahoo Japan:
"I generally keep valuables with me when I am abroad, but two t-shirts, a tank top, two pairs of shorts, and a neck pillow that I had washed and hung in my room were missing. The amount of money may not be that big, but I was so pissed off that I told the front desk clerk, 'Hey! I just got back from the show, and everything is gone!'".
Daryl, pictured above being gripped by Takahashi, was thankfully not catnapped, and New Japan has yet to return to Nashville.
