6. Callihan And Myers Plan Ahead

Two promos ahead of Rebellion saw Sami Callihan and Brian Myers talk confidently ahead of their respective bouts vs. Trey Miguel and Matt Cardona, respectively.

Sami talked about how he offered Trey a new side to his wrestling career, and is now on a mission to ensure Miguel won’t walk ever again after their last man standing bout. His promo was lit and produced in typical Sami Callihan fashion, adding that extra level of creativity that attracts a viewer’s eye. Myers, meanwhile, finally removed his eyepatch, stating that he could see clearly what Cardona was all about. He was still leeching off the success of his successful YouTube channel from several years ago. IMPACT was the one place that Myers could actually be the star of them.

Good stuff with these promos. Sami and Brian are both such natural talkers that it makes their promos a genuine joy to watch. They were setting the groundwork for one of the night’s star promos.
