5. This Is Trey's Moment

Sami Callihan and Brian Myers were good promos here, but Trey Miguel stood above them as the best promo guy of the night.

‘The Fresh Prince of Mid-Air’ can cut a fire promo when he’s given the platform to do so. He was shown at his training school with fellow trainer, the former Conrad Kennedy III, who told Miguel that he had to do this for no-one but Trey himself; after all, he didn’t need to prove anything to anyone. The former Rascal seemed a tad emotional ahead of his rematch vs. Sami Callihan, screaming with conviction, before being shown training, both on his own and with trainee Sam Beale.

This was legitimately outstanding. Trey spoke with such assurance that it became extremely difficult to argue with the guy. The promo itself was superb, but having this followed up with Miguel training as if his academy was the Performance Center added a whole new layer not only to the match, but to his overall character.

Exceptionally well-executed and full of passion. These guys are going to get nasty on Sunday.
