Injuries happen in wrestling, but was the spate a result of bad luck, bad karma, bad booking or a combination of all three?

The increased risks in the various stipulation contests on TakeOver and television were destined to result in more wrestlers going on the shelf, not least with the performers mindful that they were now working in a weekly war rather than the taped haven of the old NXT. The timing was typically rotten - Karrion Kross having to surrender his Championship days after winning it was a total disaster. So much so that when Finn Bálor took a knock in a brutal-by-design battle with Kyle O'Reilly, the belt couldn't afford another abdication. He's yet to wrestle as of this writing, and Kross is already on his way back!

And all of that's without talking about the time they idiotically tempted fate and asked Dexter Lumis to do a high spot. Yes, that Dexter Lumis. Or in a bit more detail, this one...
