It's not that NXT isn't a place for a character like Dexter Lumis - far from it in fact - but the sheer laziness in not bothering to show just what that character is one of many problems with surely the most divisive regular on the roster.

Is he a serial killer, or just a fan of the genre? And how are we supposed to receive his weird illustrations, because the heels feel more sympathetic in the stories despite the obvious shifts from the creative team towards the opposite. His stare is f*cking so played out it's become drab. And it's not like it was an affable quality to begin wit It's a jumble of ideas that results in a mess of a gimmick

Ignoring all of that, and his matches just aren't that good. What chance did strap match with Cameron Grimes have of being better than passable when he'd had a total stinker with Roderick Strong (of all people) earlier in the year. There's an inevitability of his success that has the distinct aroma of the main roster. And speaking of that...
