8 Ups And 6 Downs From Last Night's WWE Raw (Oct 26th)

2. No Cena, No Cry

Call it whatever you want, but not having John Cena on Raw after losing the United States Championship and not giving a reason why was a mistake. Was it a cataclysmic, logic-defying gaffe? No. But there really wasn€™t a good reason to virtually ignore Cena, especially if he€™s not reappearing for two months. In case you€™ve been living under a rock, it€™s been widely reported that Cena is taking two months off until the Christmas holidays, which would explain his losing the U.S. title to Alberto Del Rio at Hell in a Cell. Given Cena€™s vitality to Raw€™s ratings, it would stand to reason than any extended leave would need to be explained in some fashion, whether an injury angle or just getting frustrated and leaving for a bit to find himself. But we€™ve gotten no explanation (unless it was mentioned so briefly in passing that it was missed) as of yet. Does this mean he€™s not going away for two months? Or will they air a reason for his absence down the road? Right now, it€™s just confusing.
