3. Dean The Punching Bag
It’s understandable that Dean Ambrose had to take a beating at Braun Strowman’s hands. And it was a good thing that the match ended without him losing.
However, Ambrose took quite a beating from Braun on Raw. Strowman dominated much of the early part of the match, methodically demolishing him. Dean made a nice comeback, but Strowman basically snapped to and proceeded to powerslam him into silly putty before Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins ran out for the save.
The storyline of the match was fine, but Ambrose looked outmatched, only getting a couple small flurries during the bout. It was reminiscent of his WrestleMania match against Brock Lesnar, where Dean never really had a shot, but got a couple hope spots before succumbing to the dominant heel.
It just felt anticlimactic in a way. Of course Braun dominated like he did, because Ambrose never stood a chance.
