8 Wrestlers Triple H Can’t Get Over In WWE

6. Bayley

This one sucks.

Bayley is a generational talent who has thrived despite all kinds of adverse circumstances. She's amongst the leading superstars who kickstarted the women’s revolution and has proven herself to be a top-tier talent as both a lovable babyface and an aggravating heel.

Since her great face turn on the road to WrestleMania 40, when she stood up to her Damage CTRL pals and set off on a solo path once more, it’s been a rough ride for Bayley. You’d have to be made of stone not to feel awful for her being dropped from 'Mania 41 in the final inning, and her angle (where she was hearing negative internal monologues) was dropped swiftly with no explanation.

It’s hard to pinpoint what exactly has gone wrong for Bayley. Are people invested in her and Lyra Valkyria as a duo? Are there legs in a feud between the pair that will transform her fortunes? Bayley has given interviews about having an awkward finishing move, and her entrance music feels like 3 different songs made into one.

Whatever the reason, everyone’s favourite hugger isn’t where her talent or legacy suggests she should be. This is a first ballot Hall Of Famer by any metric, but her stories under the current creative regime aren't connecting with the audience.
