8 Wrestlers Who Got KNOCKED OUT (... & Still Finished Matches)

Goldberg had done this before.

It was back during his 2017/18 return that Bill Goldberg cut a promo that was all over the shop to say the least, mostly because he'd nutted a locker backstage as part of an archaic and slightly dangerous fire-up tradition he'd had since his earliest days. Knocking him loopy for an important speech to camera was bad, but when he generated the same result by diving full force into a steel post during a Super Showdown 2019 match with The Undertaker, the situation almost turned critical.

Blood and sweat poured from the bald head of Big Bill in the three-figure Saudi heat as the two behemoths stumbled their way through a diabolical business-exposer of a main event, leaving the contest with absolutely nothing to praise other than the fact that both men avoided serious injuries.

In later years, Undertaker spoke of simply wanting a match to go out on that he could be proud of, because nights like this were becoming all too common. He was lucky to get extra opportunities following a badly botched jackhammer that resulted in the near-seven footer folding in on himself before the pair raced to a chokeslam finisher. 'The Deadman's furious face told the story afterwards, but it was a saving grace that his nickname wasn't doing so instead.
