In the WWE, plenty of backstage whispers on ESPN possibly providing coverage for their upcoming PPV. Will this become a new trend with WWE's bigger shows? As SummerSlam's card fills out, could we see an actual superhero vs. villain match?

Due to a nasty nose injury, how long will John Cena be out of action? Daniel Bryan provides some insight on his injury timeline in a recent interview and Kevin Owens gives his thoughts on Brock Lesnar.

In indy news: Destination America continues to test the waters with Ring of Honor; do they have a long-term future together? Speaking of ROH, the battle of the indies continue on as they re-sign their centerpiece -- Roderick Strong -- to the company. Finally, if you're going to be in Los Angeles this weekend, PWG is putting on it's annual Battle of Los Angeles tournament.

Let's get to it...

8. Lesnar And Owens In The Future?

Newsworthy Bite: A few days ago Kevin Owens was on talkSPORT's Gorilla Position podcast and had these words about feuding with Brock Lesnar:

"I think there’s only one answer for me right now, and it is Brock Lesnar. I think a lot of people want to see it."

Owens elaborated on his love for Lesnar, ending it as you would expect.

"I was there the night he made his debut on Raw for WWE. I was in the crowd, like the fifth row. I remember being blown away immediately by this guy, I was on board right away. I bought Brock Lesnar T-shirts and Brock Lesnar hats. My parents got a dog that summer, I named him Brock. Seriously, he was a blonde Lab, he was huge: ‘That’s Brock!’ I used to do the F5 when I was on the indies because of how much I admire him, so I’d love to be the one to put an end to him."

Reaction: Even if you're not an Owens fan, how could this match-up not be intriguing? Owens has the skills to work a great match against Brock, along with the chops to go toe-to-toe against Paul Heyman. The likelihood of it happening is very low at this point.
