8 WWE Hell In A Cell 2018 Results Predictions

One small step for Roman, one giant leap for Mankind.

By Benjamin Richardson /

It was revealed over the weekend that (*SPOILER ALERT!*) Hell in a Cell's eponymous Satanic structure is going to be a very fetching shade of deep crimson. It's as kitschy as it sounds, WWE as ever failing to do subtlety, but it nevertheless looks bloody beaut. It's a welcome reminder of a time when the product was far less sterile (and also of ITV's Gladiators, but that's by-the-by).

WWE have played their hand a bit early with this reveal though; it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say the cage's paint job is the most exciting thing on tonight's show.

It's genuinely hard to think of anything to look forward to besides. As usual, we're waking up to Sonny and Cher, with a host of match-ups we're sure we've seen before. There are slight tweaks - but in most cases, it's made them worse. Brie Bella has wormed her way into Daniel Bryan's underwhelming tiff with The Miz. Samoa Joe and AJ go at it again. So do Ronda and Alexa - now with the added fear that Ronda could lose. It all feels like a stop-gap, a service station on the road to better things.

That's because it is. That red cage, though...

8. Rousey Gives Bliss Kiss Of Death

Theoretically, this rubber couldn't be deader if it were a Michelin Man massacre. But this is WWE we're talking about, and already they're hard at work dismantling Ronda Rousey's innate, irreplaceable aura. She's been forced to sell, forced to show weakness, forced to not get revenge, but get even - Even Steven.

Given the nature of Rousey's victory over Bliss at SummerSlam, anything besides a repeat is utterly ludicrous. The one snag is Natalya, but it's surely too soon after her father's passing to ask fans to boo her. WWE are sensitive like that.

Prediction: Ronda breaks Alexa within a minute, so help us God.
