8 WWE Superstars With Untapped Heel Potential

3. Sasha Banks

Similarly to Ambrose, Sasha has already shown herself to be an excellent heel, just not yet on WWE’s main roster. Yes, she had her time with Team B.A.D., but that was a waste of the momentum that she had built in NXT, and did not illustrate her true potential for evil.

Banks has enjoyed a decent run as a fan favourite on the main roster, certainly playing a pivotal role in the greater showcasing of women’s wrestling, but has of yet not matched the standards that she set for herself with her NXT feuds with her fellow Horsewomen of WWE.

Particularly when battling with Bayley down in developmental, ‘The Boss’ demonstrated a viciousness and an arrogance that made it easy to despise her character, even if the same viewer admired her work. She’s a very believable heel and her narrative of not being able to hold onto the RAW Women’s Championship lends itself very nicely to an upcoming turn.

Sasha should be the top female heel in the company and would produce brilliant rivalries with the likes of Asuka, Charlotte and Bayley. Alexa Bliss has played this part well, but she can’t touch Banks in the ring, and won’t take the women’s division to the next level.
