Just in case you put it out of your mind, lets remember that it was one year ago that Dean Ambrose attempted to attack Bray Wyatt with a plugged-in television, only for it to explode in his face, leading directly to his downfall moments later. In short, one of the most genuinely over wrestlers on the roster jobbed to an exploding TV. A month ago, Ambrose squared off against Roman Reigns in the main event of Survivor Series for the vacant WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Now, Ambrose is facing Kevin Owens for the Intercontinental Championship in what could easily be the best wrestling match on the card (its one of only three bouts without a special stipulation or gimmick). You dont want to say that hes fallen down the card, but its hard to think otherwise when hes not even in the conversation for the world title any longer. (Keep in mind that earlier this summer, Dean had two PPV world title matches.)Owens is a top-level heel treading water with a mid-level title. Hes also rumored to be a possible opponent for Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania XXXII, so youve got to imagine hes going to be kept strong. If thats the case, will Ambrose lose yet another high-profile title match? And will it be under screwy circumstances again?
