As of writing, only 18 competitors have been named for the first ever women’s Royal Rumble. Who will make up the final 12 spots? It is no secret that many names from WWE’s past are expected to turn up in the history-making match, with a couple of former Divas Champions dominating the rumour mill.
Many fans expect Trish Stratus to be involved in some shape or form. The WWE Hall of Famer made no secret of her interest back when the match was announced, and a return to the ring would guarantee a major reaction from the Philadelphia crowd. It remains to be seen whether or not Stratus would return for one night only however.
