Lets get the obvious one out of the way first. In order for this so-called divas revolution to succeed and lets face it, its been a failure thus far there needs to be some sort of goal that the revolutionaries are fighting to accomplish. Fans were (foolishly) optimistic that the promotion of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch and Charlotte to the main roster would signify some real change for the women, but so far rather than reshape the division theyve become mired down in the monotony. The new additions dont have much in the way of character definition and this entire team concept is so forced and inauthentic that its done no favors for anyone. The focal point of every single woman on the roster should be to become the champion and they should all be working toward that goal. Nikki Bella serves as the ideal evil empire for the young upstarts to try and dethrone. Shes an established WWE star who has been a part of the machine for nearly a decade and the company arguably places more emphasis on her role on Total Divas than as the WWE champion. Her status within the industry makes her the perfect foil and obstacle for these aspiring new divas to overcome.
