Ruby Soho and Tay Melo faced every single obstacle almost every women's wrestler does on a weekly basis.

The pair were concluding a blood feud but had to do so with extremely limited television time to build it and the typical Dynamite death slot. Added to that was the weight of expectation due to Soho's flawed first run and Melo being marginalised as Sammy Guevara's wife first/wrestler second for most of the year.

Yet, in spite of these factors, the two hit this one out of the park with the focussed force of the stiff shots that kicked it off. Crucially feeling like a fight throughout, the pair never let the intensity settle, and zero hesitation made for zero breaks in the immersion. The live crowd chose the match over the merch stand, and rewarded with a satisfying Ruby Soho victory by the end.

An Anna Jay-AS beatdown afterwards had uneasy this-feud-must-continue vibes, but the match's quality shouldn't be held back by the limitations of the post-match angle.
