4. Zoey Stark And Io Shirai Try And Get On The Same Page

We've not seen an awful lot of the new NXT Women's Tag Team Champions since Zoey Stark and Io Shirai prised the belts away from The Way a few weeks ago, and it looks like this can be chalked down to the fact that the pair still aren't exactly seeing eye-to-eye.

Jumping to footage of Shirai training alone inside of the Performance Center earlier in the week, Stark reminded her co-Champion that they should be forging a bond now that they're the reigning champs. Of course, the former NXT Women's Champion was having none of it as she still respected Stark but wasn't in the mood to play best buds.

Stark was able to convince The Genius of the Sky to hang out with her as a partner in the end, and, in all honesty, this could be an interesting new twist on the "odd couple" dynamic. Instead of being thrown together against their will, these two joined forces out of respect and only went and sealed the deal. Yet, it's abundantly clear they hadn't factored in actually winning the titles and what that would mean for the team going forward.

Cue scenes of Shirai reluctantly becoming more attached to her new ally, only for Stark to suddenly turn on the fan favourite and set up another mouth-watering clash further down the line. Mark your writers words, folks.
