9 Ups & 3 Downs From AEW Dynamite (2 Nov)
1. His World
Jeff Jarrett arriving in AEW is as awesome as it is funny as it is shrewd.
‘The King Of The Mountain’ pretty much only had All Elite Wrestling left on his promotional bingo card, and getting his comeuppance in a Full Gear party match tag against Darby Allin and old rival Sting will be a total riot, but the news that he’ll take a Business Development job with the company is even more key to the story than what went on in front of the cameras.
2022 has been an evidently trying year for the company, and Tony Khan’s workload was egotistically enormous enough before he added an entire second company in Ring Of Honor to his slate. If Jarrett alleviates some of that, he’s a benefit. If he offers even a sliver more - as he did here with a classic kabong on one of wrestling’s biggest ever Slapnuts in Allin - he’s a boon.
