On message and to the point in a blistering takedown of the inherent silliness of WWE at large, Daniel Bryan kept it short and less than sweet in a brilliantly efficient primer for the otherwise-unimportant main event.

"I don't care about getting beaten up, I don't care about Twitter beefs, I don't care about grown men arguing about who was drafted where at what point in time", was the type of caustic craic only Bryan is capable of, before rounding back to the main point and putting the main event over like it actually meant something.
A masterclass of a promo from a gift of a man, this was the sort of weekly Bryan brilliance it's easy to become spoiled by. If and when he does turn again, just imagine the crazed passion then.
