Anyone who has watched NXT for a few months knows that Tye Dillinger is largely used as enhancement talent, a guy who comes out and makes his opponents look good before laying down. He very easily could eke out an existence on the roster as a jobber, but Dillinger has managed to roll out a new persona that could work really well: The Perfect 10. Sure, its cheesy, with Dillinger sporting a 10 shaved into the back of his hair and flashing all 10 fingers repeatedly to lead fans in a 10 chant after performing a move, such as a leapfrog and cartwheel to avoid a corner charge. But its something. Tye even pulled out the old Barry Horowitz self-congratulatory pat on the back, which if intentional is even more awesome. Jobbers certainly have a role in professional wrestling. One of the criticisms leveled against WWE today is that most matches on Raw are guys trading wins. If you use enhancement talent every now and again, you can give guys face time and not have another name guy be a sacrificial lamb. Giving guys like Dillinger a personality however cheesy it might be is a fun way to add some depth. And besides, who doesnt want to simultaneously boo an arrogant jobber and chant 10 along with him?
