After months and months of the two teasing a break-up, WWE's A-Town Down Under is officially no more.

Rather than any major angle, any sort of turn, or any sort of issues boiling over and leading to physicality, we learned of A-Town Down Under's split thanks to a passing comment by Grayson Waller in a backstage segment on last night's Raw. There, as Waller told Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods that Austin Theory is injured and that A-Town Down Under is formally done, before the Aussie offered himself up to join the New Day.

There's no news as of this writing if Theory is indeed hurt, or what any specifics of such an injury are, but the former United States Champion was in action as recently as 14 July, where he lost to El Grande Americano on that week's edition of Main Event.

Of course, we could always get some sort of feud between Austin Theory and Grayson Waller down the line, depending on Theory's status, but for now, the team has simply broken up off-screen and with extremely minimal fanfare.

As for the last time A-Town Down Under teamed up, that was on the WWE Main Event episode that aired on 26 June and ended in a loss to the War Raiders. In fact, that was actually Waller's most recent match, period.

When looking at main WWE programming - as in, Raw and SmackDown - the A-Town Down Under tag team has only had two matches in 2025 so far, which would be a January loss to the Motor City Machine Guns and then a similar defeat to the Usos in March.

Grayson Waller and Austin Theory first teamed together in August 2023, soon formally taking on the A-Town Down Under moniker. The obvious highlight for the pairing was winning the WWE Tag Team Championships in a six-team ladder match at WrestleMania 40, although the subsequent title reign was extremely underwhelming, lasting 90 days and seeing just one title defence - against the Street Profits - before A-Town Down Under lost the titles to DIY.
