In some unfortunate news, AEW's Adam Cole has thrown major doubt over his in-ring future, vacating the TNT Title prior to All In yesterday, then using the PPV itself to address his current health status.

As announced by Tony Khan on social media ahead of All In, the TNT Title had been vacated and the scheduled Adam Cole vs. Kyle Fletcher match was now off. In its place, we would have a four-way bout featuring Fletcher, Daniel Garcia, Sammy Guevara, and Dustin competing for the TNT Championship, with Dustin getting the somewhat surprising win here.

However, before that match, Adam Cole came out to address the Globe Life Field crowd, delivering a heartfelt, emotional speech that detailed how he's dealing with some health issues that mean he'll have to step away from the ring "for a while".

Cole said he didn't want to talk about retirement at this stage because he wasn't in the right headspace, but added how he wanted to address the fans "if this is indeed goodbye".

While Adam was eventually joined in the ring by his long-time friends Kyle O'Reilly and Roderick Strong, many of his peers and colleagues were likewise quick to show their support on social media.

From all of us here at WhatCulture Wrestling, best wishes to Adam Cole in overcoming the health issues he's currently dealing with. Hopefully, Adam is able to lace up his boots again at some point down the line, but more important right now is the health of the real-life Austin Jenkins.
