AEW Double Or Nothing 2021: 37 Things You Probably Missed

3. Break The Walls Down!

AEW

Jericho's baseball bat (called Floyd, if you didn't know) was conveniently hidden on a whiteboard in one of the Jags' meeting rooms. When he grabbed it, the veteran looked right down the camera lens and flashed a menacing smile.

Break the (fourth) wall doooooooown.

Ahem, sorry. Seriously though, this moment made viewers feel part of the action. Nobody should complain about it either; the match was already over-the-top and silly, so it's not like Jericho breaking the fourth wall is a major problem.

2. The Forbidden Door?

AEW

Prepare for the most literal moment in AEW history. Maybe.

Jericho crashed MJF through a sugar glass window during the main event, and AEW paused to show the heel hanging over the door frame. Was...was this their way of literally kicking down the "Forbidden Door"? Perhaps this fan is just looking into things a little too deeply.

Cool spot regardless of any hidden meanings.

1. Jericho Telling Sammy To Celebrate?

AEW

The show couldn't go off the air without Chris Jericho looking out for Sammy Guevara. That's been a recurring theme of their on screen relationship since it started a few years ago, and Jericho wasn't about to stop now.

He seemed to lean in and tell Guevara to go up on Ortiz' shoulders and play hero for the night whilst celebrating. If this was off the cuff and unplanned, then that's amazing from Jericho. He wanted Sammy to look like the star of the second 'Stadium Stampede', and the saviour of his Inner Circle.

Some Evolution-style thumbs down treatment coming for Sammy if the IC repeat this on Dynamite soon? Don't bet against it.
