Yep, Kevin Knight becomes the last member of the Don Callis Family...

Having carved out a whole bunch of momentum for himself as the TNT Champion, having turned heel by attacking Darby Allin at Double or Nothing, and then further cemented that heel turn by laying out his now-former-partner 'Speedball' Mike Bailey on last week's Dynamite, Kevin Knight's rise up the AEW card has now seen him... join the Don Callis Family?

Last night's Dynamite saw Don Callis bring out Knight and introduce him as the latest member of the Callis Family, which makes the Jet the 12th active member of that faction.

As alluded to, Kevin Knight now joins Kyle Fletcher, Trent Beretta, Lance Archer, Brian Cage, Mark Davis, Rocky Romero, Hechicero, Kazuchika Okada, Andrade El Idolo, Jake Doyle, and Volador Jr. as active Callis Family members, while Josh Alexander, Wardlow, and El Clon are currently on the sidelines.

Of course, the Callis Family recently booted out Konosuke Takeshita at Double or Nothing after he defeated Okada for the International Championship, and the stable clearly wasted no time in adding a new name to its ranks.

Purely from your writer's perspective, it's definitely a choice to add Kevin Knight to a faction that's become a point of mockery in certain quarters for the sheer number of members it has, especially when Knight seemed set to soar as a heel singles act. And sure, being part of the Calls Family tends to result in plenty of TV time, but Knight has already been a spotlighted, regular TV presence in the past several months, and it seemed that he was set to be highlighted even more after that heel turn.

Whether this works out well for Kevin Knight remains to be seen, but to say this decision has split opinion online already is an understatement, with many fans eager for the hugely talented 29-year-old to be given a solo spotlight rather than become yet another body in the Don Callis Family.
