AEW Roster "BANGED UP" After Double Or Nothing 2025 (AEW News)
The AEW roster is feeling the impact of Double or Nothing.
Following AEW Double or Nothing, it appears that the AEW roster is pretty banged up. Of course, Double or Nothing featured several brutal spots throughout the PPV, particularly when it comes to the Anarchy in the Arena match.
Per Fightful Select, "a lot" of AEW talent are currently waiting to be cleared by the company's medical team. When asked about the list of names banged up right now, Fightful Sean Ross Sapp was told it's "as long as it's been in a while".
In terms of specific names, the Young Bucks were said to be hurting after their involvement in Anarchy in the Arena, with initial fears that Nicholas Jackson may have suffered a concussion. The outlet also reached out to Jamie Hayter over fears she'd suffered an injury in her match against Mercedes Moné, and Jamie said she was totally fine. Where last night's AEW Dynamite was concerned, the Young Bucks were completely absent from the broadcast, though Hayter and Ospreay did make non-wrestling appearances. In Jamie Hayter's case, the former AEW Women's Champion had an in-ring promo segment with Renee Paquette that was interrupted by the AEW debut of STARDOM favourite Thekla, with Thekla attacking Jamie. As for Will Ospreay, he was involved in a heated in-ring exchange between Swerve Strickland and 'Hangman' Adam Page. There, Ospreay tried to act as the voice of reason between the two men, imploring Swerve that he and Ospreay need to support Hanger in his quest to dethrone AEW World Champion Jon Moxley at All In.
Thankfully, none of the aforementioned names have been added to the AEW injury list following the insanity of Double or Nothing, although the company does have several notable stars currently on the sidelines, awaiting to be cleared for action, with Eddie Kingston, Jay White, Orange Cassidy, and Buddy Matthews just a handful of big-name talents chomping at the bit to return to an AEW ring.
