AEW's media partners, Warner Bros. Discovery, are in favour of the Tony Khan-helmed promotion expanding its pay-per-view schedule as part of a potential new deal between the two parties.

Fightful Select reports that WBD has proposed this move to AEW. A source has indicated that a "significant expansion" is a "very likely possibility", with AEW perhaps even moving to a monthly model - which Warner Bros. Discovery wants.

There is currently no word on whether or not this would be a standalone deal or something folded into a MAX streaming package.

Such an agreement is yet to be finalised. Expanding AEW's pay-per-view schedule is at the discussion stage, with the situation subject to change.

On Tuesday, Fightful reported that AEW and WBD had been in negotiations over an expansion to AEW's media rights deal, which currently nets Khan's promotion around $45 million annually. AEW is expected to be in line for a significant monetary increase once negotiations are settled.

AEW currently looks likely to present six pay-per-views in 2023. Revolution, Double Or Nothing, and Forbidden Door have already passed, with All In (August), All Out (September), and Full Gear (traditionally November) still to come.
