AIW Share Moving Story About Scott Hall's Incredible Generosity
"Scott Hall paid for every gallon of gas and every meal over three days."
Independent promotion Absolute Intense Wrestling has shared a heartwarming story about Scott Hall's generosity during a booking for the company in 2020, doing so following news of the former Razor Ramon's ill health breaking.
The 63-year-old was recently placed on life support in Marietta, Georgia after suffering three heart attacks due to a loose blood clot - a complication stemming from hip surgery last week. Hall's best friend and long-time tag team partner Kevin Nash has since revealed, sadly, that Scott's life support will be "discontinued" once his family is ready.
On Sunday, the official AIW account tweeted the following, stating that Hall paid for a whole weekend's worth of gas and food for the promotion's students. Why? Because in Hall's eye, wrestling veterans are supposed to look after the up-and-comers.
In Feb 2020 we had Scott Hall booked on a weekend loop split with another company, AIW students were responsible for driving him for the entire weekend. Scott Hall paid for every gallon of gas and every meal over three days because he said that is what vets are supposed to do.

Though he retired from in-ring competition many years ago, Hall had remained semi-active in other capacities, primarily on the convention circuit. He did, however, return to WWE screens in April 2021, as he entered the Hall of Fame for a second time as part of the New World Order.
Again, we at WhatCulture wish to express our deepest thoughts and sympathies for Hall's family during this difficult period.
