All 33 June WWE PPV Main Events Ranked From Worst To Best

33. The Great American Bash 2004 (The Undertaker vs. The Dudley Boyz)

So, the Undertaker returned in 2004 with his original deadman gimmick. Seemingly, WWE decided to go whole-hog with his 90s persona and brought back another trademark: a dumb, nonsensical feud over possession of his urn.

Basically, Paul Heyman has stolen the urn and kidnapped Paul Bearer, and thus, The Undertaker must defeat the Dudleys in a “Handicap Concrete Crypt Match,” or else Paul Bearer will be buried in cement. Unless ‘Taker decides to join Paul Heyman and rule SmackDown together as father and son, or some garbage like that.

There are objectively worse main events on this list, but this is by far, the dumbest, most absurd you could ask for. Why did this main event a PPV when it’s really a SmackDown segment? Beats me. Leave it to Vince to think the Undertaker’s goofy bullcrap is more interesting than the WWE Championship.

‘Taker beats the Dudleys in a boring match, and then kills Paul Bearer anyway (he got better). The crowd is dead silent, not knowing what to make of any of this nonsense.

Terrible stuff.
