Another Former World Champion Leaving IMPACT Wrestling
Multiple companies already showing interest in this soon-to-be free agent.
Hot on the heels of PCO having given his notice to IMPACT Wrestling, it now appears that Sami Callihan will also soon be departing the Anthem promotion.
As per PWInsider.com, multiple sources have told the outlet that Callihan will be leaving IMPACT when his current contract expires on 30 September. The relationship between both parties is said to amicable, but just terms haven't been agreed on a new deal for the one-time IMPACT World Champion.
This report notes that there is already interest in Sami from "multiple" companies, and some of that interest is in utilising the 36-year-old not just as an in-ring talent.
Callihan has been with IMPACT since 2017, and his career so far has seen him compete for the likes of CZW, MLW, Lucha Underground, Evolve, PWG, ROH, Dragon Gate USA, and have a short stint in NXT as Solomon Crowe.
Where PCO is concerned, this past weekend brought word that the former ROH World Champion has let IMPACT know that he won't be remaining with the promotion once his contract likewise expires on 30 September. This will bring an end to a run with the company that began in January 2022 for the French Frankenstein.
