Last week saw WWE hold a backstage meeting ahead of WrestleMania 38, with Fightful Select reporting on "emotional scenes" as Triple H was welcomed back to the company, recounting his health struggles (including the serious heart failure that hospitalised him last September).

This week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter offers some additional details on what happened. It was the first time many wrestlers had seen Triple H since his scare, which made for a very emotional talk as 'The Game' explained what happened to him, coming across as grateful to be alive, humble, and nice.

Dave Meltzer claims the situation has been described as being akin to "a friend telling you about how close he came to death and not like a boss.'

Fightful Select's original report noted that during the same meeting, WWE President Nick Khan broke news that talents would now have the ability to earn additional money through third-party platforms. In the Observer, Meltzer noted that WWE is making third-party deals allowing a revenue share with wrestlers - a slight elaboration on the original report.

Triple H made an on-camera appearance at WrestleMania 38, having confirmed his in-ring retirement the week prior.
