Triple H was backstage at a huge WWE talent meeting recently, having not been seen by most roster members since August.

Fightful Select report that WWE head of talent relations John Laurinaitis started the meeting, saying he had a special guest. An "emotional scene" played out as Triple H was unveiled, with the 52-year-old recounting his recent health struggles, then introducing WWE president and chief revenue office Nick Khan, whom he called "a friend of over 10 years."

News that Triple H had been hospitalised following what was described as a "cardiac event" broke last September. Last week, The Game told ESPN's Stephen A. Smith that he was retired from active competition, diving deep on his heart issues for the first time since undergoing the emergency procedure.

Khan brought positive news to those in attendance, stating that wrestlers would now be allowed to make extra money on top of what they earn as part of their WWE contracts. This includes third-party platforms, which were subjected to a controversial ban in September 2020, reportedly sparking backstage discontent. Fightful note that Cameo, autograph signing sessions, and scripted and unscripted programming are also included in this.

Talent in attendance have described the meeting as a unanimous success, with one quipping that it was a great way to start WrestleMania 38 weekend.
