Of course, Andrade made his shock return to AEW on the 1 October edition of Dynamite, attacking Kenny Omega. This came only a matter of weeks after El Idolo had been released by WWE, though the hugely talented Mexican star has yet to be seen on AEW programming since that Omega attack.

This has led to plenty of speculation over Andrade El Idolo's AEW status, with Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussing this topic on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, saying "something happened" and that there are people who know what happened, "but they're keeping quiet."

On this matter, Fightful Select adds how Andrade is indeed signed to AEW, and that his absence isn't seen as being the fault of AEW or El Idolo. The outlet doesn't have any further specifics on the situation, but clarified that the talent is officially signed to the company, with some fans recently speculating that Andrade may not have yet penned a deal to once again become #AllElite.

In addition to his ongoing AEW absence, Andrade El Idolo has also been pulled from a Muchas Luchas Atlanta match later this month, where he was scheduled to face LA Park. Instead, that bout has been replaced by Mascarita Sagrada vs. Demus, which has only added further fuel to the speculation surrounding Andrade right now.
