Every Current WWE Champion - Full List & Updates
Every current WWE champion reigning supreme on Raw, SmackDown and NXT.
There are currently 24 active titles in WWE.
Admittedly, two of those look to be show-specific and are hardly an ongoing concern to the weekly product. In fact, the creative team has put them to one side until certain jaunts to Saudi Arabia/Australia/anywhere else internationally come around again. Then, you can expect to hear all about how "important" they are etc etc. Regardless of that 'pick 'em up then put 'em down' approach, both are here for the sake of completion.
Winning any championship under WWE's watch is nothing to sniff at. It's a sure sign that Triple H is encouraged by a wrestler's in-ring work, character progression and/or promo skills. 'The Game' doesn't just stick the belts on anyone. Obviously, that's truer for the top titles than it is for say...the Speed Titles. They're nowhere near as important as some other prizes the men and women on Raw, SmackDown and NXT strive to hold, and could be considered largely worthless by most fans.
Some belts will take a while to get going, too. Titles like the Women's Intercontinental and United States Championships are still relatively new compared to others, and the Women's Tag-Team straps have always been a headache for the writers penning episodes of TV. Thankfully, WWE managed to find a solution there by finally putting the titles on women who connect with the audience and having a backup story that was waiting to be triggered.
Here's every single reigning champion across all three major brands and beyond. This will be updated as and when title changes occur, so consider it a handy current guide on who's holding which title in WWE.
Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes
Since: 3 August, 2025.
Defeated: John Cena.
Show: SummerSlam.
'King Of The Ring' winner Cody Rhodes finally reclaimed the WWE Title by defeating babyface (again) John Cena at SummerSlam in early August. It was a memorable win for Cody, and the pair's match was a vast improvement on their clash at WrestleMania 41. No Travis Scott interference to soil memories of this one!
Rhodes had called for the "real John Cena" in the lead up to August's PLE. Cena responded in kind by turning baby again on the SmackDown right before SummerSlam, but WWE kept the vicious 'Street Fight' stipulation in place as a proving ground for both workers on the night.
It feels like order has been restored following JC's 17th title reign.
World Heavyweight Champion: CM Punk
Since: 1 November, 2025.
Defeated: Jey Uso.
Show: Saturday Night's Main Event.
Previous champion Seth Rollins wasn't even involved in CM Punk's title win. He got injured and was forced to vacate the belt on the 20 October Raw. After that, WWE announced that CM Punk vs. Jey Uso would contest the prize at the penultimate Saturday Night's Main Event special of the year on 1 November.
Punk won a fairly sloppy match to bag his first major title since returning to the company in late 2023. He's expected to hold the thing through until WrestleMania 42 season - a match against Roman Reigns could be on the cards there. What a showdown that'll be. It's 'Mania sized!
WWE Women's Champion: Jade Cargill
Since: 1 November, 2025.
Defeated: Tiffany Stratton.
Show: Saturday Night's Main Event.
In truth, the clock was ticking on 'Tiffy Time' long before deposed champ Tiffany Stratton lost her Women's Title to rising star Jade Cargill. Triple H blatantly ran out of ideas for Stratton following her hot WrestleMania 41 situation opposite Charlotte Flair, so she trundled along until November's loss.
It needed to happen. Jade was ready.
WWE has recast Cargill as a dominant bully who throws her muscle around and believes her own hype. It's wrestling heel 101, but she's pretty good at it. Of course, the strength of any champion hinges hugely on the lineup of challengers companies throw at them, but a feud with Bianca Belair seems inevitable.
Women's World Champion: Stephanie Vaquer
Since: 20 September, 2025.
Defeated: IYO SKY.
Show: Wrestlepalooza.
An emotional Naomi vacated her hard-won Women's World Championship live on the 18 August Raw. The positive sheen on this is that she's pregnant, so another Bloodline baby is on the way! Congrats to both Naomi and Jimmy Uso for that, but it means she'll obviously be off TV for a long stretch.
Creatively, the timing couldn't have been worse (Naomi had just won the belt at Evolution after cashing in Money In The Bank, and she seemed set to rule the division for a while), but Stephanie Vaquer earned her first main roster prize by fending off IYO SKY in a brilliant match at WrestlePalooza.
WWE Tag-Team Champions: The Wyatt Sicks
Since: 11 July, 2025.
Defeated: The Street Profits.
Show: SmackDown.
SmackDown's tag-team division was a weekly highlight of the show for a while before The Wyatts seized control. Chaos involving DIY, The Street Profits, Los Garza, Pretty Deadly, and the Motor City Machine Guns was dramatic, complete with Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins dethroning Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa in Barcelona, Spain to become the WWE Tag Champs.
For the record, it had been over four years since The Profits held gold around here, but they went on to drop the straps to Wyatt Sicks pair Joe Gacy and Dexter Lumis. In theory, Uncle Howdy could have any combo of himself, Erick Rowan, Gacy and Lumis defend the things going forwards.
World Tag-Team Champions: AJ Styles & Dragon Lee
Since: 20 October, 2025.
Defeated: Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh)
Show: Raw.
It's been obvious to regular viewers for a while now that Raw's creative team don't really have grand plans for their tag-team division. New Day's heel run has been largely flat, and there was nothing really going on with Judgment Day duo Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh as champs either. They were a safe pair of hands, but the division lacks depth.
That's still true now AJ Styles and Dragon Lee are champions.
They're a shoved together unit at best, and they aren't expected to achieve much with the World Tag Titles now they have them. Who knows, eh? Maybe things will take a positive turn soon.
Intercontinental Champion: Dominik Mysterio
Since: 29 November, 2025
Defeated: John Cena
Show: Survivor Series: WarGames.
It sounds ridiculous considering his tenure and wealth of titles across a career spanning decades, but John Cena became Intercontinental Champ for the very first time in 2025. He'll be retiring on 13 December at maybe the most emotional Saturday Night's Main Event ever, so WWE knew they couldn't keep the gold on him for too long.
That opened the door for 2-time champion Dominik Mysterio to reclaim his glory at Survivor Series. Liv Morgan returned to action and teased turning on 'Dirty Dom' before kicking Cena in the nuts and helping her Judgment Day lover win big all over again.
Dominik Mysterio will forever be known as the guy who won Cena's last PLE match.
United States Champion: Ilja Dragunov
Since: 17 October, 2025.
Defeated: Sami Zayn.
Show: SmackDown.
There were surprised glances aplenty when the returning Ilja Dragunov roared back into action following a lengthy injury layoff to dethrone fellow workhorse Sami Zayn as United States Champion on SmackDown in mid-October. At first, it looked like their match only existed to give Sami a fresh 'Open Challenge' and help Ilja shake off some ring rust, but no.
He raised that title high above his head post-victory. That had to taste sweet.
Dragunov has continued the 'Open Challenge' gig by working some fine matches against Aleister Black, Nathan Frazer and others weekly. Who knows how long his title reign will run for? It's a credit to the blue brand for now, at least.
Women's Intercontinental Champion: Maxxine Dupri
Since: 17 November, 2025.
Defeated: Becky Lynch.
Show: Raw.
Life is full of surprises! Maxxine Dupri beating Becky Lynch to become brand new Women's Intercontinental Champion on the 17 November Raw inside the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden was certainly a shock few saw coming. However, Becky went out of her way to make Dupri look awesome, and Maxxine herself has worked so hard to reach this point.
These midcard female belts were made for moments just like this one.
Becky's title reign stopped short at 163 days after she'd beaten old protege Lyra Valkyria to win big at Money In The Bank. Not many could've guessed that Maxxine was even in the running to hold a singles strap in 2025.
Women's United States Champion: Chelsea Green
Since: 7 November, 2025.
Defeated: Giulia.
Show: SmackDown.
Not many will remember much about Giulia's unimpressive 133 day run as Women's United States Champ on SmackDown. She did get Kiana James as a manager, but that's about it. By November, Triple H had decided to stick the title back on inaugural champion Chelsea Green - this is her second run with the title she first held high back in December 2024.
For what it's worth, Green is also co-holder of AAA's Mixed Tag-Team Champions too. She and partner Ethan Page have held those belts since 2 November.
Whatever way you slice it, the Women's US Title is likely better off around Chelsea's waist than Giulia's. Everyone's gonna need to have a long, hard think about where she's going on WWE's main roster.
Women's Tag-Team Champions: The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane)
Since: 10 November, 2025.
Defeated: Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss.
Show: Raw.
Alexa Bliss achieved the impossible by making Charlotte Flair a likeable babyface before and during their Women's Tag-Team Title reign. OK, maybe that's unfair. Charlotte has done a lot of the groundwork herself, but there's something so endearing about the "We're Not Friends" thing both women have going on. They won out at SummerSlam to become brand new focal points for the up and down Women's Tag Title division, at least for a while.
Pretty much everyone and their dog (go on, ask it!) knows that Charlotte and Alexa will split and feud at some point, but WWE can ride their union out for as long as it's working. There's no need to fix something that ain't broken, y'know? For now, creative has deemed Asuka and Kairi Sane as the rightful new champs.
This is their third reign with the topsy turvy titles.
WWE Speed Champion: Jasper Troy
Since: 11 November, 2025.
Defeated: El Grande Americano.
Show: NXT.
Let's be brutally honest: Few fans pay much attention to the Speed Titles or keep tabs on who holds the belt. It sure doesn't help that WWE's deal with social platform X means neither championship appears on Raw or SmackDown. That seems a bit counterproductive, and it was a shame for hopefuls like the offshoot El Grande Americano gimmick that his belt came across as worthless to the core product when he was holding it.
Americano lost his belt to Jasper Troy on the 11 November edition of NXT.
WWE Women's Speed Champion: Fallon Henley
Since: 25 November, 2025
Defeated: Zaria.
Show: NXT.
Inaugural WWE Women's Speed Champion Candice LeRae held that belt for nearly 200 days, but her reign was brought to a halt courtesy of NXT's Sol Ruca. Much like has been the case with both the men's and women's Speed Title, though, Ruca wasn't really seen with that particular piece of gold on WWE programming before getting injured and vacating.
A tournament was announced to crown the new champ, then Fallon Henley beat Sol's pal Zaria to win it.
NXT Champion: Ricky Saints
Since: 27 September, 2025.
Defeated: Oba Femi.
Show: NXT: No Mercy.
The artist formerly known as Ricky Starks justified his jump from AEW to WWE by winning the NXT Championship at No Mercy in late-September. Being booked to beat a powerhouse like Oba Femi should be taken as a huge show of faith from top brass, because it's pretty clear to everyone that Oba has a bright future ahead of him on the main roster.
Saints will eventually carve out a path for himself on Raw or SmackDown too if his current career trajectory is anything to go by. No-one can say for sure that his title reign will be a long one, but he'll be enjoying the moment regardless.
NXT Women's Champion: Jacy Jayne
Since: 18 November, 2025.
Defeated: Tatum Paxley.
Show: NXT.
It seemed written in the stars that Stephanie Vaquer would enjoy a lengthy run as NXT Women's Champ when she defeated Giulia at NXT Roadblock in mid-March, but both women have since been called up to the main WWE roster. Before that, Vaquer did the honours for NXT stalwart Jacy Jayne on 27 May.
Jayne then surprisingly stared at the lights for Tatum Paxley at Halloween Havoc in late-October, but quickly regained her gold to kick off a second stint as champion. That title switch came on the NXT Gold Rush specials.
NXT North American Champion: Ethan Page
Since: 27 May, 2025.
Defeated: Ricky Saints.
Show: NXT.
Injuries robbed Ricky Saints of a lengthier stint as NXT North American Champion. He beat Shawn Spears on the 1 April NXT, but was then defeated by another former AEW star on 27 May. Ethan Page is the new champ, and he'll be hoping for a longer reign with the belt than he managed with the top NXT Championship (86 days) last year.
The good news is that Page shone during a rare main roster appearance on SmackDown. He wasn't wrestling, but spoke well as a guest behind the commentary desk. Bigger things could be ahead of 'All Ego' during the second half of 2025.
NXT Women's North American Champion: Blake Monroe
Since: 25 October, 2025.
Defeated: Zaria.
Show: NXT Halloween Havoc.
With Stephanie Vaquer having been forced to vacate the NXT Women's North American Championship after her own NXT Women's Title success, it was Sol Ruca who emerged victorious for that vacant belt at Stand & Deliver.
In a brutal car crash of a ladder match, Sol was able to edge out her tag partner Zaria, former North American Champ Kelani Jordan, one-time NXT Women's Tag Champ Cora Jade, the heavy-hitting Lola Vice, and the ever-underhanded Izzi Dame - which gives Ruca the second championship of her young career.
Sol's own injury woes forced her to vacate too, so Blake Monroe beat her partner Zaria to become the new titleholder as October came to an end. This isn't the biggest title ex-AEW star Mariah May/Blake Monroe will hold in WWE, let's be honest.
NXT Tag-Team Titles: DarkState
Since: 24 August, 2025
Defeated: Hank & Tank
Show: NXT Heatwave.
DarkState members Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin won the NXT Tag-Team Titles from Hank & Tank at Heatwave in late-August. That brought an end to the former champ's 127 day reign with the belts. It was, however, a deserved win for Lennon and Griffin. They make a sweet team.
So, mind you, do Hank & Tank, but now they need to work their way back up the ladder or move to WWE's main roster. Hey, you never know - those boys might've done enough to impress Shawn Michaels and a watching/listening Triple H.
WWE Men's Crown Jewel Champion: Seth Rollins
Since: 11 October, 2025.
Defeated: Cody Rhodes.
Show: Crown Jewel.
There were skeptical glances aplenty when Triple H unveiled the new Crown Jewel Championships on TV ahead of WWE's trip to Saudi Arabia in November 2024. Dual 'Champion vs. Champion' bouts were set up. Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER was one of them, and it was Cody who took the freakishly large Crown Jewel belt on the night. Then, he left the title in Saudi.
Come 2025, WWE moved the PLE to Perth, Australia and had Seth supplant Cody as men's Crown Jewel champion. Again, they barely mentioned it once Perth was in the rear view mirror.
WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion: Stephanie Vaquer
Since: 11 October, 2025.
Defeated: Tiffany Stratton.
Show: Crown Jewel.
Similarly, there isn't much to write home about when it comes to the Women's Crown Jewel Title. Then-Women's World Champion Liv Morgan won it by beating then-Women's Champ Nia Jax in Saudi in 2024. She posed inside the ring with Cody Rhodes and Triple H before leaving the gigantic belt backstage for somebody else to cart about.
A year or so later, Crown Jewel 2025 took place in Australia and Liv was nowhere to be found. She'd been injured since June, to be fair, so rising favourite Stephanie Vaquer beat Tiffany Stratton to wear the freakishly large title for a few minutes.
WWE Evolve Champion: Jackson Drake
Since: 4 June, 2025.
Defeated: Keanu Carver, Edris Enofe, Sean Legacy.
Show: Evolve.
Technically, Jackson Drake won this belt in late April, but WWE didn't acknowledge the new WWE Evolve Title until early May, and his title-winning match didn't air until early June. It's unclear just how much focus the promotion will give both Evolve offshoots, but Drake must be chuffed that he'll go down in the history books as a first ever champion.
WWE Evolve Women's Champion: Kendal Grey
Since: 15 October, 2025.
Defeated: Kali Armstrong.
Show: Evolve.
Kali Armstrong will go down as the first ever WWE Evolve Women's Champion after winning another Fatal-4-Way elimination bout during tapings in late April. Again, that match was kept back until June. Think of Evolve as loose qualifiers for NXT. If workers impress there, then they'll surely be brought into the mix on WWE's core developmental wing.
Armstrong later lost the title to Kendal Grey in mid-October.
WWE ID Champion: Cappuccino Jones
Since: 1 August, 2025.
Defeated: Jack Cartwheel.
Show: The ID Showcase (GCW).
WWE established both ID Titles in February as part of a recruitment drive aimed squarely at keeping tabs on the best the independent scene has to offer. In a neat touch, Triple H said that any workers who win each championship but aren't already signed to an ID contract will be brought onboard and offered terms.
That's quite the dangling carrot for young workers on the indy circuit. Cappuccino Jones became the first male ID Champ on a Game Changer Wrestling-promoted showcase event in early August right before SummerSlam.
WWE Women's ID Champion: Laynie Luck
Since: 17 November, 2025.
Defeated: Notorious Mimi, Brittnie Brooks, Shannon Levangie, Airica Demia and Tiara James.
Show: Wrestling Open RI.
Former AEW, TNA and NWA star Kylie Rae became the first female ID Champ, but then vacated the belt due to maternity leave on 22 September. That later led to Laynie Luck winning the title in a 6-woman elimination match on an independent show in mid-Novmeber.
Luck looked overwhelmed when posing with the title and some other WWE ID props. Good on her.
