Every Current WWE Champion - Full List & Updates
Every current WWE champion reigning supreme on Raw, SmackDown and NXT.

There are currently 20 active titles in WWE.
Admittedly, two of those look to be show-specific and are hardly an ongoing concern to the weekly product. In fact, the creative team has put them to one side until certain jaunts to Saudi Arabia come around in late-2025. Then, you can expect to hear all about how important they are again. Regardless of that 'pick 'em up then put 'em down' approach, both are here for the sake of completion.
Winning any championship under WWE's watch is nothing to sniff at. It's a sure sign that Triple H is encouraged by a wrestler's in-ring work, character progression and/or promo skills. 'The Game' doesn't just stick the belts on anyone. Obviously, that's truer for the top titles than it is for say...the Speed Titles. They're nowhere near as important as some other prizes the men and women on Raw, SmackDown and NXT strive to hold, and could be considered largely worthless by most fans.
Some belts will take a while to get going too. Titles like the Women's Intercontinental and United States Championships are very new, and the Women's Tag-Team straps have always been a headache for the writers penning episodes of TV. Thankfully, WWE has managed to find a solution there by finally putting the titles on women who connect with the audience and having a backup story that's waiting to be triggered.
Here's every single reigning champion across all three major brands. This will be updated as and when title changes occur, so consider it a handy current guide on who's holding which title in WWE.
Undisputed WWE Champion: Cody Rhodes

Since: 7 April, 2024.
Defeated: Roman Reigns.
Show: WrestleMania XL Night 2.
Cody Rhodes finally managed to "finish the story" at WrestleMania XL (40) by beating Roman Reigns. His reign has already thrown up some interesting WWE Title facts. For example, Cody has flaunted the classic strap his father Dusty Rhodes once unofficially held aloft, and the old 'Winged Eagle' belt was a key part of his story opposite ex-pal Kevin Owens.
Rhodes will hold the belt until 'Mania 41 at least.
World Heavyweight Champion: GUNTHER

Since: 3 August, 2024.
Defeated: Damian Priest.
Show: SummerSlam.
'Ring General' GUNTHER is someone Triple H can rely on to wrestle top matches no matter who he's standing across the ring from. The big Austrian was a fine choice to supplant Damian Priest as Raw's World Heavyweight Champ, but it does look like it's only a matter of time before he's staring at the lights and dropping that strap.
Jey Uso confirmed his WrestleMania 41 challenge after winning the 2025 Royal Rumble match.
WWE Women's Champion: Tiffany Stratton

Since: 3 January, 2025.
Defeated: Nia Jax.
Show: SmackDown.
Recent WWE news has done little to allay fan fears that Charlotte Flair will swoop in and nab another title from rising star Tiffany Stratton at 'Mania 41. Their match is official, and it has many worried that 'Tiffy Time' will be fleeting. Surely not, because cementing her as a star attraction is surely more beneficial than padding Flair's trophy cabinet further.
Only time will tell if 'The Queen' trumps SmackDown's new princess and makes Stratton's MITB cash in on Nia Jax a false flag moment.
Women's World Champion: IYO SKY

Since: 3 March, 2025.
Defeated: Rhea Ripley.
Show: Raw.
What a surprise WWE had in store for fans tuning into the post-Elimination Chamber 2025 edition of flagship show Raw.
IYO SKY defeated all-conquering Women's World Champ Rhea Ripley to grab the gold and theoretically nab Rhea's spot on the WrestleMania 41 lineup all at once. Now, WWE is touting IYO vs. Bianca Belair for April's bumper weekender. However, WWE news lifted the lid on rumours that Ripley will be right back in the title mix as part of a souped up Triple Threat scenario.
The cool thing about SKY's win on Raw is that nobody saw it coming. Her title triumph wasn't quite on 'John Cena turns heel' levels in terms of pure shock value, but it did leave a few jaws on the floor.
WWE Tag-Team Champions: The Street Profits

Since: 14 March, 2024.
Defeated: DIY.
Show: SmackDown.
SmackDown's tag-team division has been a weekly highlight of the show for a while now. Chaos involving DIY, The Street Profits, Los Garza, Pretty Deadly and the Motor City Machine Guns has been dramatic, and the latest slice of it happened over in Barcelona, Spain when Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins dethroned Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa to become new WWE Tag Champs.
DIY are lucky they've had so many teams to bounce off of, because their own reign would've struggled without that cluster of opponents. For the record, it had been over four years since The Profits held gold around here. They'd argue that this win was overdue!
World Tag-Team Champions: The War Raiders

Since: 16 December, 2024.
Defeated: Judgment Day (Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh).
Show: Raw.
Rehabbing the aura of War Raiders pair Erik and Ivar has been one of Triple H's priorities since assuming control of WWE operations from disgraced father in law Vince McMahon. That rescue mission peaked when the powerhouses beat Judgment Day duo Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh in a fine bout in late-December 2024.
Splitting both sets of tag straps again has done wonders for the Raiders.
Intercontinental Champion: Bron Breakker

Since: 21 October, 2024.
Defeated: Jey Uso.
Show: Raw.
Speaking of powerhouses, it's Bron Breakker.
The Steiner blood flows through his veins, and that's helped turn Breakker into one of the many rising stars in Triple H's WWE. He won his second Intercontinental Title from Jey Uso in late-October 2024. Maybe Bron can look forward to enjoying some of the same Royal Rumble success his IC predecessor did in the future too. He's clearly on the up and up.
United States Champion: LA Knight

Since: 7 March, 2025.
Defeated: Shinsuke Nakamura.
Show: SmackDown.
Most knew it'd happen, but WWE eventually pulled the trigger: LA Knight regained "his" United States Title from Shinsuke Nakamura during a hot main event on the 7 March 2025 episode of SmackDown. It was a big show of faith in both to headline the show, and they didn't disappoint. The finish, which saw Naka accidentally spray ref Charles Robinson with red mist before Knight hit his BFT on a steel chair, looked great.
This is Knight's second stint with the midcard belt. His first one lasted a respectable 118 days, and it's expected he'll hold the title through WrestleMania 41 season into the summer at least.
Women's Intercontinental Champion: Lyra Valkyria

Since: 13 January, 2025.
Defeated: Dakota Kai.
Show: Raw.
Lyra Valkyria burst into the breaking WWE news and made company history by becoming the first ever Women's Intercontinental Champion in mid-January. She beat Damage CTRL's Dakota Kai in a tournament final to bag that belt, but it remains to be seen just how crucial a part either new-fangled midcard female belt will play in events heading into WrestleMania 41.
Holding a new title doesn't guarantee a spot, but Lyra will be praying that changes.
Women's United States Champion: Chelsea Green

Since: 14 December, 2024.
Defeated: Michin.
Show: Saturday Night's Main Event.
First ever Women's United States Champ Chelsea Green is in the same boat, but her celebrated character work could mean she nudges slightly closer to 'Mania immortality than Valkyria. Few are more deserving of a spot on the biggest card(s) of the year, that's for sure. Green's facial expressions and over the top work have been a highlight on recent episodes of SmackDown.
Long may that continue. Nobody should be taking this strap from her anytime soon.
Women's Tag-Team Champions: Liv Morgan & Raquel Rodriguez

Since: 24 February 2025.
Defeated: Bianca Belair and Naomi.
Show: Raw.
Judgment Day duo Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez took the belts from Bianca Belair and Naomi in late-February. The quartet worked one of the most thrilling Women's Tag-Team Title matches in recent memory. Naturally, stablemate Dominik Mysterio helped the cackling pair bag the titles. It's worth noting that Naomi had been a sub for the injured Jade Cargill, and that a heel turn for either deposed champ could be incoming shortly.
Cargill returned in a memorable moment at Elimination Chamber 2025, so expect some answers to her 'whodunit' story soon.
WWE Speed Champion: Dragon Lee

Since: 20 November, 2024.
Defeated: Andrade.
Show: Speed.
Let's be brutally honest: Few fans pay much attention to the Speed Titles or keep tabs on who holds the belt. It sure doesn't help that WWE's deal with social platform X means neither championship appears on Raw or SmackDown. That seems a bit counterproductive, and it's a shame for hopefuls like Dragon Lee that his belt comes across as worthless to the core product.
He technically won the thing from Andrade on 15 November, but the match didn't air on X until 20 November.
WWE Women's Speed Champion: Candice LeRae

Since: 9 October, 2024.
Defeated: IYO SKY.
Show: Speed.
Candice LeRae never carrying her Women's Speed strap whilst propping up the rear for Nia Jax on SmackDown feels like a missed opportunity to put some eyeballs on the social media exclusive. She doesn't need to defend it elsewhere other than on X, but...wouldn't it make sense to show the belt off to a large TV audience? Apparently, that isn't something Triple H thinks is important.
Either that or the quirky terms with X mean his hands are tied.
NXT Champion: Oba Femi

Since: 7 January, 2025.
Defeated: Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe.
Show: NXT: New Year's Evil.
Oba Femi has all the tools to become a WWE success story on bigger brands like Raw and SmackDown someday, but Shawn Michaels will be keen to tell old D-Generation X cohort Triple H that they shouldn't be in any rush. Letting Femi develop as NXT Champion is the right way to go about things for now.
He bagged the title in a three way match vs. Trick Williams and Eddy Thorpe at New Year's Evil. Fans should expect a lengthy reign from the big man throughout 2025.
NXT Women's Champion: Stephanie Vaquer

Since: 11 March, 2025.
Defeated: Giulia.
Show: NXT: Roadblock.
Life is good for current double champion Stephanie Vaquer.
Scroll down to read how she became NXT Women's North American Champ, but the full focus is on NXT's main Women's Title here. Vaquer dethroned now-former champion Giulia on the brand's special Roadblock episode held inside the hallowed halls of Madison Square Garden. This was done due to injuries suffered by Giulia heading into the event.
WWE chief Triple H and NXT boss Shawn Michaels acted quickly to book a 'Winner Takes All' bout between both celebrated newcomers. Vaquer was given the nod, and now she's firmly on top of the entire division on NXT.
NXT North American Champion: Shawn Spears

Since: 4 March, 2025.
Defeated: Tony D'Angelo.
Show: NXT.
Ex-AEW man Shawn Spears has been playing a mentor character since returning to the WWE fold last year, but Shawn Michaels and his writing team decided to change that by strapping singles gold on the one-time Tye Dillinger in early-March 2025. On the 4 March episode of NXT, Spears defeated Tony D'Angelo to win the brand's North American Title.
This is a massive show of faith in Shawn from WWE higher-ups. Who knows what it means for D'Angelo's future though? Only time will tell on that. He was a slightly surprising North American Champ himself, but fans shouldn't rule out a move to the main roster someday.
NXT Women's North American Champion: Stephanie Vaquer

Since: 15 February, 2025.
Defeated: Fallon Henley.
Show: NXT: Vengeance Day.
Like Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer is one of the fresh new international female stars HBK has been pushing to the forefront on NXT. Vaquer became number one contender at New Year's Evil by beating Cora Jade, Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan in a four-way. Then, she followed up on that by beating Fallon Henley to become Women's North American Champion at Vengeance Day in February. It could be a while before fans see Vaquer on the main roster, but that depends on how quick she acclimatises to WWE's way of doing things.
Early signs of obvious progress are good for the double champ.
NXT Tag-Team Titles: Nathan Frazer & Axiom

Since: 1 September, 2024.
Defeated: Andre Chase and Ridge Holland.
Show: NXT: No Mercy.
Selfishly, there must be a few fans (this writer is one of them!) who'd like to see Nathan Frazer and Axiom tangle with Motor City Machine Guns pair Shelley and Sabin someday. That match could be lightning fast. For now, Frazer and his masked chum are riding high as NXT Tag-Team Champions on the developmental brand.
It's a good spot for them both.
WWE Men's Crown Jewel Champion: Cody Rhodes

Since: 2 November, 2024.
Defeated: GUNTHER.
Show: Crown Jewel.
There were skeptical glances aplenty when Triple H unveiled the new Crown Jewel Championships on TV ahead of WWE's trip to Saudi Arabia in November 2024. Dual 'Champion vs. Champion' bouts were set up. Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER was one of them, and it was Cody who took the freakishly large Crown Jewel belt on the night. Then, he left the title in Saudi.
WWE will only make a big song and dance about it come the next Crown Jewel event, but it counts as an active championship.
WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion: Liv Morgan

Since: 2 November, 2024.
Defeated: Nia Jax.
Show: Crown Jewel.
Similarly, there isn't much to write home about when it comes to the Women's Crown Jewel Title. Then-Women's World Champion Liv Morgan won it by beating then-Women's Champ Nia Jax in Saudi. She posed inside the ring with Cody Rhodes and Triple H before leaving the gigantic belt backstage for somebody else to cart about. It'll be interesting to see if WWE even remembers who the champions are by the time Crown Jewel 2025 is announced.
Will it even matter? There's a good chance this prize will only be contested between current reigning World Champions, not those who "won" it before.
