Backstage Update On Bayley & Becky Lynch Potentially Working WWE WrestleMania 37
Bayley and Becky Lynch are both missing from the WrestleMania 37 card, BUT...
WWE has at least talked about the idea of running a talking segment featuring Bayley and Becky Lynch at WrestleMania 37 this weekend.
This is according to Dave Meltzer, who writes in the new Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the idea had reached the planning stages, and would have involved Lynch entering the arena in a big truck.
Nothing has been announced for either wrestler at the Showcase of the Immortals. Meltzer writes that if WWE adds a talking segment (presumably Bayley's Ding Dong Hello chat show), it'll likely involve these two.
WWE could conceivably book Bayley for such an appearance on tonight's go-home episode of SmackDown.
Earlier this week, Bayley told talkSPORT that while she "doesn't know" what's going on with her and WrestleMania, she probably wouldn't spoil a surprise if WWE had something exciting lined up. Lynch, meanwhile, has been off television since May 2020, when she announced her pregnancy.
Lynch gave birth to her and Seth Rollins' first child, Roux, on 4 December 2020. WWE President Nick Khan commented last week that both Becky and Ronda Rousey would both be coming back to the company at a certain point in the future.
