Self Made Pro claims that Bronson Reed will target Roman Reigns once he returns from an injury layoff. The Vision powerhouse previously wrestled the 'OTC' at Clash In Paris in August 2025 and at Crown Jewel in October a few months later - the second bout there was billed as an 'Australian Street Fight', and Reed actually defeated Reigns.

Now, it looks like WWE will revisit the feud once Bronson returns from a nasty torn bicep injury. He was struck down by that on the 23 February 2026 episode of Raw, which unfortunately also derailed company plans for the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE. However, things are looking up for Reed once he's back on TV.

Roman is set to clash with Jacob Fatu at Backlash on 9 May. They lined up that collision pretty much immediately after Reigns won the World Heavyweight Title from CM Punk at WrestleMania 42. Not many expect the 'Samoan Werewolf' to leave Backlash with the gold, but he can still give a solid account of himself in such a lofty spot.

Triple H will move from that babyface vs. babyface presentation (although Roman's cousins The Usos have been toying with more of a heelish edge lately) into a babyface vs. heel one with Bronson. It'll be interesting to see if Paul Heyman is around ringside for the title matches between those guys too.

There's no word on when this might happen, but WWE's next PLE after Backlash is Clash In Italy on 31 May. They've also got a Saturday Night's Main Event special on the schedule for 23 May, but both dates could come a little too soon for Reed given his injury status at the moment.
